GLIMPSES OF GOD'S GREATNESS - "FEAR NOT TAKE MY HAND"

 FEAR NOT "TAKE MY HAND"

Isaiah 41:13 (CJB) For I, ADONAI, your God, say to you, as I hold your right hand, 'Have no fear; I will help you.

GLIMPSES OF GOD'S GREATNESS THAT ISAIAH GIVES

Glimpse #1

In Isaiah 41:1 God says, "Coastlands, listen to Me in silence, and let the peoples gain new strength; let them come forward, then let them speak; let us come together for judgment."

Here is a picture of God calling all the coastlands and all the peoples to gird up their strength and come before him for judgment. The God of Isaiah 41:10 is the judge of all the earth. He calls all nations to give an account of their lives and their religions and their thoughts. He is not called to account. He is not on trial. They are. They come into his courtroom. He is the judge of all and will pass sentence on every person. That's the God who is with you to strengthen and help.

Glimpse #2

In Isaiah 41:2-3 Isaiah asks, "Who has aroused one from the east [probably Cyrus the Persian king that God stirred up to come against Babylon] whom He [God] calls in righteousness to His feet? He delivers up nations before him, and subdues kings. He makes them like dust with his sword, as the wind-driven chaff with his bow."

Here is a picture of God rousing a king and leading him in conquest and delivering up nations before him. So the God of Isaiah 41:10 is Ruler of the rulers of history. He controls the affairs of men and nations for his purposes. That's who gives the pillars for fearlessness in Isaiah 41:10.

Glimpse #3

In Isaiah 41:4 Isaiah asks, "Who has performed and accomplished it, calling forth the generations from the beginning? 'I, the Lord, am the first, and with the last. I am He.'"

Here is a picture of God not only judging the nations and ruling the rulers of the earth but calling all the nations of the earth into being--"calling forth the generations from the beginning." God is the first--he is the absolute reality before all other reality and on which all other reality depends. He is the uncreated first. And he will be there with the last when all is accomplished according to his eternal purpose.

When God answers, "I, the Lord, am the first . . ." the word "Lord" is "Jehovah or Yahweh.  Franz Deilitzsch comments on this verse: "It is the full meaning of the name Jehovah which is unfolded here; for God is called Jehovah as the absolute I, the absolutely free Being, pervading all history, and yet above all history, as He who is Lord of His own absolute being, in revealing which He is purely self-determined; in a word, as the unconditionally free and unchangeably eternal personality" (cited in E.J. Young, The Book of Isaiah, vol. 3, p 76). That's the God of Isaiah 41:10 who strengthens and helps and upholds.

Glimpse #4

In verses 5-7 Isaiah shows us the desperate attempts of the nations to persuade themselves that they and their gods are strong. Verse 5: they are afraid and they come together. Verse 6: they try to encourage each other not to be afraid, and say, "Be strong!" Verse 7: the idol makers who smooth the metal and nail up the idols with nails try to encourage each other and say, "It is good."

In other words, there is a picture of the unrepentant nations desperately trying to convince themselves that their self-wrought gods, made with soldering and nails, are really adequate for their needs.

Over against this desperation of self-reliance and idolatry God says to his people in verses 8-9, "But you [are] Israel, My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, descendant of Abraham My friend, you whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called from its remotest parts, and said to you, 'You are My servant, I have chosen you and not rejected you."

That is what God has done for us in Christ. He chose us before the foundation of the world. He called us out of darkness and death. And he took us for himself to be his. To make himself our God.

There are some truths in the Word of God that I want to give you. These truths will help us in these days of discouragement, dismay, despair, and disorientation so we can stay encouraged. I have determined that there are three things that will get us through the trials and discouragements of life.

The Five Pillars of Fearlessness

1.  "For I am with you"--"Do not fear, for I am with you."

2.  "I am your God"--"Do not look anxiously about you, for I am your God."

3.  "I will strengthen you."

4.  "surely I will help you."

5.  "Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."

When God calls you to be free from fear as you do evangelism, as you take a test, as you face an interview, as you take a stand against an unjust business practice, as you confront someone with sin in their life, when you leave a secure position and take a risk in a new venture, when you face an operation or a treatment, when you lose a spouse or a friend--when God calls you to be free from fear (to overcome this natural emotion and have peace, he does not leave the command hanging in the air. He puts pillars under it. Five of them. That's the nature of all Biblical commands. They come with divine support.

Fear not . . . God is with you;

Fear not . . . God is your God;

Fear not . . . God will strengthen you;

Fear not . . . God will help you;

Fear not . . . God will uphold you.

The key to overcoming fear is resting on the pillars of the promises of God.  ~Bits and Pieces from the sermon by John Piper

Isaiah 41:10-13 (AMP) 10 Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice. 11 Behold, all they who are enraged and inflamed against you shall be put to shame and confounded; they who strive against you shall be as nothing and shall perish. 12 You shall seek those who contend with you but shall not find them; they who war against you shall be as nothing, as nothing at all. 13 For I the Lord your God hold your right hand; I am the Lord, Who says to you, Fear not; I will help you!

Many things will discourage you in this life. When you see the world growing in power and wickedness, it will discourage you. When it seems that nothing is the same as before, it has the potential to discourage you. You would think that because of the wickedness of the world the church would fight harder than ever before. However, Jesus declared in Matthew 24:12, (KJV) “12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” God wants us to be an encouraged people!

When studying the Word and praying, I saw a vision of God's hand and he said, "Take My Hand."  ~Debi Webster Perry

From Genesis to Revelation, God has spoken to people through dreams and visions! We can choose to invite God's Spirit to speak to us in any way that He chooses. God has not limited us to know Him only with our minds and the written logos Word of God. We can invite Him to make Himself known to us through open spiritual eyes and ears. Praise God! He wants us to know Him intimately!

THE OPEN HAND OF GOD

Many people today are living as if God is not interested in their life or in how they are living it.  As a result, their life has become one struggle after another with seemingly no one to turn to.  Not only are financial struggles a major problem for people but also health concerns, and family pressures overwhelm them.  Many Christians as well as unbelievers are living in a mere survival mode wondering what will happen next and feeling that they are just about ready to go under.  They do not expect anything to get better.

Is there a different way to live our lives; and if so, how do we get there?  Scripture speaks of God’s unfailing love for his people and His wonderful deeds that He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.  Psalm 104:28 says, “When you open your hand, they are satisfied with good things.”  This verse says when, not if. Psalm 68:9 says, “You gave abundant showers, O God, You refreshed your weary inheritance.

These are just three of many scriptures that speak of God’s open hand, Psalm 107:9; Psalm 104:21-28; Psalm 68:9.  The adjectives used to describe His provision are not skimpy, barely enough, just scraping the bottom of the barrel. They indicate that He satisfies; He fills.  Other scriptures use terms of agriculture--a well-watered garden--a flourishing plant or bubbly springs.  In Isaiah 58:11 the Message Bible puts it this way, “I’ll give you a full life in the emptiest of places…”

We need to know and be convinced that God wants to open His hand toward us.  Many people will say, “Oh, I’m not worthy.  Oh, I’ll never have a good job, or I never will be well…” On and on people speak as if they are not convinced of God’s love for them.  In spite of the economy or anything going on around us, we can have a sense of wholeness and wellbeing in our souls.

Apply this to yourself.  You are not parched in your soul--you are flourishing.  If the Lord is satisfying you, you are not just barely getting by.  We have to be convinced that God wants our life to be good.  Often we think that God is just wanting to disqualify us over our past or that He never quite forgives us.

We have to be convinced of God’s forgiveness so that His hand can be open toward us.  Psalm 84:11 says, “No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.”

Being convinced that God is not out to get us, just what opens His hand and what closes it?  Just how do we move into a place where we can see the open hand of God in our daily life?  There are several things that cause this to happen, and I would like to talk about four things:

1. THANKFULNESS--Thankfulness is a key to open God’s hand. Thank you opens the door to all that God has done, is doing, and will do.  Be generous with your "Thank You" to God.

We fail to receive when we are careless about thanking Him. In fact, scripture calls our thanks a PASSWORD.  In Psalm 100 the Message Bible says, “Enter with the Password: THANK YOU.  Make yourselves at home, talking praise. Thank Him. Worship Him.”

2. OBEDIENCE--We usually know what God wants us to do but often want to do what WE want to do because it is easier or takes less effort. Scripture tells us, “…to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams” (I Samuel 15:22).

We can say, “God, I would rather substitute something else instead of what you are requiring of me.” That kind of attitude keeps the hand of God from opening toward us because “if you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best from the land” (Isaiah 1:19 NIV).

Are you doing all you know to do to be obedient to what God wants you to do? “From now on if you listen obediently to the commandments that I am commanding you today, love God, your God and serve him with everything you have within you, he’ll take charge of sending the rain at the right time, both autumn and spring rains, so that you’ll be able to harvest your grain, your grapes, your olives.  He’ll make sure there’s plenty of grass for your animals. You’ll have plenty to eat” (Deut. 11:27 MSG).

The provision is traced back to obedience not just doing whatever we want to do even though we know it doesn’t please God.  Can you say like David, “I delight to do thy will, O God?”

3. ACKNOWLEDGING GOD--You need to be walking close enough to Him to hear what He has to say to you.  Proverbs 3:6 tells us “in all thy ways acknowledge him [listen for God’s voice in everything you do] and he will direct thy paths.”  We have to be on the lookout for God’s open hand.  Would you recognize it if you would see it?  It may come in the form of an unexpected job opportunity that just came up--out of the blue.  It could come in the form of a good buy on something.  That was not just coincidence.  That was God’s open hand.

Position yourself for His open hand by acknowledging Him every day and listening for what He has to say.  We have to be alert and ready to receive from His open hand.  Too often we say, “It’s not a good time for me.  Wait till the flu season is over.  Wait until warm weather.  Wait till school is out.”  We often miss God’s open hand because we procrastinate.

God’s open hand comes to us in many different ways.  It is not always money we need.  If you are sick, you need God to open His hand in healing and wellness.  If you are in constant conflict with people, you need His open hand in the area of conflict resolution.  There are many ways that He causes us to be like a flourishing plant or springs of water.  When we acknowledge Him, we become more aware of His open hand in many areas of our life.

4. PLANTING SEED--Give God something to work with by planting seed away from yourself. God told Abraham, “…I will bless you…and you will be a blessing” (Gen. 12:2).

Isaiah 58:11 tells us, “if you are generous, with the hungry and start giving to the down and out, your lives will begin to glow in the darkness, your shadowed lives will be bathed in sunlight. I will always show you where to go. I will give you a full life in the emptiest of places--firm muscles, strong bones. You’ll be like a well watered garden, a gurgling spring that never runs dry” (Isaiah 58:11 MSG).

Giving opens the hand of God by establishing a cycle--giving and receiving. When God gives, don’t let it stop there--you give again.  Give out of your need, give in a lot of ways, not just money.  Give friendship to someone, give things to add a sparkle to someone’s day--learn to become a generous person in many different ways.  Luke 6:38 tells us “give and it will be given to you.  A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over.  For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

A well-known Old Testament scripture speaks of the open hand of God in another way, “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house.  Test me in this and see if I will not throw upon the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have enough room for it” (Malachi 3:10 NIV). The Message Bible says, “…see if I don’t open up heaven itself to you and pour out blessings beyond your wildest dreams.”

What needs to be done in your life in order for you to experience the open hand of God?  Do you need to change some things?  Start by being more thankful in the everyday things.  Live in obedience to what you already know to do and acknowledge Him in your daily life. Be a blessing to someone, generously giving of yourself and your resources.  You will begin to see God’s Open Hand become evident in some very specific ways in your life.

LABEL ON BLOG | HEAVENLY | MY BIBLE STUDY OF WORDS GIVEN

HEAVENLY

God wants to visit His people (Exodus 24:16-17) And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud. 17 And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.

When we pursue the Kingdom of GOD we will see things that we have not yet seen.  God will give us Heavenly Signs and Wonders to Amaze us. He wants us to look into the Heavenly Realm where He sits in all His Glory. There He can tell us the secrets of His Heart.

Jesus' ministry is surrounded with Supernatural Experiences because He did only what the Father in Heaven told Him. The work He did here on earth is for today, not only when Jesus was on earth. God is seeking for those who truly seek after Him to shower them with His Glory. Religion is trying to stop the Church from seeing that Glory and having Supernatural Experiences. Religion says if you have a Supernatural Vision it is a demon. Because religion can not control it, they can't tie it down, they can't tell it what to do.

In the Word you find things happening in the Spirit Realm to many of Authors. Ezekiel was carried into a vision of God. He was lifted into the Heavens seeing the Kingdom. He saw wheels within wheels as Heavenly Beings. (Ezekiel 1:1-28) John the Revelator, was lifted Higher to see the Kingdom. A voice lifted him a little Higher and he began to look into Heaven. He began to see GOD. There is a lot of stuff going on in Heaven.

In His Word are so many personal experiences with GOD by the prophets and seers. You just have to open the Word and pray for the revelation of GOD as you read them. The Holy Spirit will be glad to share the revelation the LORD has sent Him to give to you.

GOD is wanting us to have encounters with Him. Everybody wants these encounters but they want them to be normal. GOD is wanting Heaven to become more Real to us. For it to become a reality to us, all we need to do is take a step of faith into His Realm and come out believing what He shared with us was our glimpse of Heaven. Having a glimpse in Heaven is a promise He gives to each of His children.

-Debi Webster Perry-

Let your love, God, shape my life with salvation, exactly as you promised; Then I'll be able to stand up to mockery because I trusted your Word. Don't ever deprive me of truth, not ever—your commandments are what I depend on. Oh, I'll guard with my life what you've revealed to me, guard it now, guard it ever; And I'll stride freely through wide open spaces as I look for your truth and your wisdom; Then I'll tell the world what I find, speak out boldly in public, unembarrassed. I cherish your commandments—oh, how I love them!—relishing every fragment of your counsel. Remember what you said to me, your servant—I hang on to these words for dear life! These words hold me up in bad times; yes, your promises rejuvenate me. (PSALM 119:41-50-MSG)

"THE EPISTLE OF JAMES"

Heavenly Wisdom Vs. Earthly Wisdom (3:13-18)

INTRODUCTION

1. In the Old Testament book of Proverbs, we are encouraged to seek after wisdom - Pr 3:13-18; 4:7-9

2. Likewise, in the New Testament we are exhorted to walk with wisdom - Ep 5:15-17

3. But in Jm 3:13-18, we learn that there is more than just one kind of wisdom (READ)

4. In this lesson, we will take a look at what James describes as two different kinds of wisdom: "Heavenly Wisdom Vs. Earthly Wisdom"

[In discussing these two, James does so by making several contrasts; the first being...]

I. A CONTRAST IN THEIR "ORIGIN"

A. EARTHLY WISDOM IS NOT FROM ABOVE (15)

1. It is EARTHLY

a. I.e., worldly

b. Wisdom that is according to the world's standards

c. But this wisdom is foolishness to God - cf. 1Co 1:20

2. It is SENSUAL

a. Appealing to the senses, the emotions, the passions

b. Wisdom according to what FEELS right (but that doesn't make it right)

3. It is DEMONIC

a. The kind of wisdom possessed by the devil and his angels

b. A wisdom that often finds its origin in the influences of Satan!

B. HEAVENLY WISDOM IS FROM ABOVE (17)

1. It comes from GOD - cf. Jm 1:17

2. It comes via PRAYER - cf. Jm 1:5-8

[Knowing the origin or source of each kind of wisdom ought to encourage us to select the right one. But if that is not enough, then consider how James describes...]

II. A CONTRAST IN THEIR "NATURE"

A. EARTHLY WISDOM (14,16)

1. Full of BITTER ENVY

2. Possessing SELF-SEEKING IN THE HEART

3. This wisdom extols as virtues such qualities as:

a. Power

b. Position

c. Privilege

d. Prestige

4. It was this kind of wisdom...

a. That prompted Satan and his angels to rebel against God

b. That prompted the disciples to argue over who would be the greatest in the kingdom

B. HEAVENLY WISDOM (17)

1. It is first PURE

a. Above all else, it is true to God's Will

b. Not one to compromise truth for the sake of peace

2. Then it is PEACEABLE

a. Holding firm to the truth, it makes every effort to be at peace - cf. Ro 12:18

b. For example, speaking the truth in an attitude of love - cf. Ep 4:15

3. GENTLE

a. That is, kind in one's dealings with others

b. Not harsh, even when right and dealing with those who differ - cf. 2Ti 2:24-25

4. WILLING TO YIELD

a. Not in matters of truth

b. But in matters of opinion - Ro 14:1

c. In matters of liberty - Ro 14:19-21

5. FULL OF MERCY

a. Quick to forgive the offenses of others

b. Wisely understanding one's own need of mercy - cf. Jm 2:13

6. PRODUCING GOOD FRUITS

a. Notice verse 13, where it says we are to show by our conduct our true wisdom and understanding

b. This wisdom takes one beyond being a HEARER to being a DOER - Jm 1:22

c. Understanding that "faith without works is dead" - Jm 2:26

7. WITHOUT PARTIALITY

a. Showing no respect of persons - cf. Jm 2:1-13

b. Rather, treating all fairly, on the same basis

8. WITHOUT HYPOCRISY

a. Indicating that all of the above is not an "act", a "show"

b. But that it comes from a heart desiring to please God, not man

[Certainly the superiority of "Heavenly Wisdom" over "Earthly Wisdom" is apparent in this passage. But as additional proof, notice also...]

III. A CONTRAST IN THEIR "FRUITS"

A. EARTHLY WISDOM (16)

1. Causes CONFUSION

2. And EVERY EVIL THING

3. Makes you wonder what kind of wisdom...

a. Is behind denominational-ism

b. Is often manifested in some congregational meetings

B. HEAVENLY WISDOM (18)

1. Produces PEACE, instead of confusion

2. Bears the fruit of RIGHTEOUSNESS, instead of every evil thing

CONCLUSION

1. Certainly when we compare their ORIGIN, NATURE and FRUITS, the wisdom to be preferred is "HEAVENLY WISDOM"

2. What kind of wisdom do we have?

a. Those who have "EARTHLY WISDOM" boast of theirs (14)

b. While those who have "HEAVENLY WISDOM" show theirs by their good conduct done in meekness (13)

3. What kind of wisdom do we want?

a. If EARTHLY, then no effort is necessary

1) Just do what the world tells you

2) Just do what feels right

b. But if HEAVENLY, then we must be diligent

1) To seek such wisdom from God

2) To demonstrate such wisdom by our conduct

4. What kind of wisdom do you have in regards to the gospel of Christ?

a. EARTHLY WISDOM makes no response to the gospel, or if any, only that which is convenient

b. HEAVENLY WISDOM receives the commands of the gospel joyfully and obediently - cf. Mk 16:15-16; Ac 2:38

Have you demonstrated "HEAVENLY WISDOM"?

PSALM 119 THE KEY TO HAPPINESS

Doing the Will of God Revealed in His Word

Pray For Others To See God Also

God chose to warn unbelievers with visions (Genesis 20:3) But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man's wife.

Sunday morning I was reading PS 119, while reading it, the Holy Spirit pointed out that this chapter would be a beautiful prayer, using it as a prayer for your family, church, or universal. I read through the chapter again inserting the plural form as I read. The words hit straight to the heart-felt-tug of the situations dealt with on a daily basis. The Word is one way to strengthen your prayer life. The more we read, the Holy Spirit gives us understanding on a personal perspective. We receive supernatural encouragement through the struggles we are facing now. Prayer: Holy Spirit lead me to all discernment and understanding of the Word that I would bring only Glory to the Father.

Psalm 119:41-50 (MSG)

41-50 Let your love, God, shape my life with salvation, exactly as you promised; Then I'll be able to stand up to mockery because I trusted your Word.

Verses 41-50 point out, to put your hope in God's Word, the Bible. It will comfort you in times of suffering and affliction. His Word will give you life. God's law is not restrictive; it only restricts from things that harm, and it liberates man to live in the fullness of God's perfect plan. (NSFLB)

Reading verses 41-50 you will see that there is a letter in Hebrew, the Zayin. In my study of the Hebrew alphabet, it was interesting to see that each letter in the alphabet tells of the story of Jesus. The letter Zayin is considered a "crowned" vav. Just as vav represents "Yasher", straight light from God to man, so zayin represents returning light. Zayin is a crowned man (Jesus) equipped with the sword of the Holy Spirit.

The sword mentioned in Hebrews 4:12 is (machairia), a "short sword" that was sharpened on both edges of the blade. The two edges represent the two main parts of the scriptures, (the Old and the New Testaments). Since the Zayin represents a weapon of the Spirit, remembering the Torah of Moses is here depicted as a great weapon to be used in spiritual warfare in our lives. -Hebrew4Christians-

Hebrews 4:12 (NIV)  12  For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

The conviction of the Holy Spirit through God's Word. Understand that conviction of sin is an expression of God's mercy. It leads to forgiveness, which leads to freedom. (NSFLB)

About Psalm 119

1) It is the longest Psalm in the book of Psalms.

2) It is also the longest chapter in the Bible.

3) The Psalm is divided into 22 parts.

4) Each part begins with a different letter of the Hebrew alphabet.

5) In Hebrew, each line of these parts begin with that letter.

6) Is this significant? There's not a letter that doesn't honor God's word.

7) The content of this chapter is respect, praise, and honor for God's word.

8) God's word is described with several different words in this Psalm.

a. Laws

b. Testimonies

c. Ways

d. Precepts

e. Statutes

f. Commandments

g. Judgments

h. Word

i. Truth

9) All of these words are used to refer to God's word.

10) There is great respect for God's word in this Psalm.

11) We ought to have this same respect also.

12) Without God's word we would not have the information we need for our salvation.

13) We ought to join the Psalmist in praising God for His wonderful word!

The Ministry of Tears - Liquid Prayer

God will interact with us about healing and prophetic words through use of visions (Acts 9:10) And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.

(Psalm 126:5-6 (NKJV) Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.  He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with him.

"Tears in Scripture play a unique role in spiritual breakthrough. Here we discover that the planting of seeds accompanied by a spirit of brokenness will not only bring a spiritual harvest of results, but will leave the sower with a spirit of rejoicing in the process." (NSFLB)

"Passion in Spiritual Warfare is Clearly Needed" -Charles H. Spurgeon-

1. Tears of sorrow or suffering (2 Kings 20:5).

2. Tears of joy (Genesis 33:4)

3. Tears of compassion (John 11:35).

4. Tears of desperation (Ester 4:1,3).

5. Tears of travail, or giving birth (Isaiah 42:14).

6. Tears of repentance (Joel 2:12,13).

I think I have all these covered. Sometimes I feel like a big cry baby, but I know it is just the movement of the Holy Spirit in my prayer. Only God can break down those walls. Hallelujah!

Psalms 126:6 “He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.”

1. “He that goeth forth” – The go in Soul-winning

2. “and weepeth” – the broken heart in Soul-winning

3. “bearing precious seed” – the Word of God in Soul-winning

4. “shall doubtless come again … bringing his sheaves with him.” – the certainty of results with God’s methods.

5. “rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” – the Soul-winner’s reward.

Let’s ask God to make us Soul-winners. People all around us are dying without Christ.

Natalie Wilson - Liquid Prayer - Lyrics

I thought of you the other day and I prayed, You've been acting as if you're okay, But you're hurting inside with no one to confide, So God give me these words to say.

Chorus: When your words can't convey what your heart needs to say, When you cry God hears you through your tears. And your stories are spoken God hears and He cares, For He understand your liquid prayers.

I can see that your spirit is, it's broken and torn, Cause I've been where you are once before. And I know how it feels when you, ya can't say a word. When you're weary from the pain and hurt, so when... Chorus

Bridge: Know that weeping may endure for a night. But joy cometh in the morning light. So be not dismayed for my God will take care. Keep the faith help is on the way! So stand still my sister, my brother be strong. Cause you're breakthrough is waiting today. You've been crying and my God has bottled your tears. And He's answering your liquid prayers. What you need to do is just hold on.

Drive: Hold, on Every time, every time you cry (that He's healing you inside). Be strong, God understands (trust and believe) your tears. He's working it out for you, yes. He's doing it now for you, yes.

A ROYAL POEM-THE TIMES OF THE MESSIAH
The Lord Reigns-The Lord Jesus Reigns, a living reality-Psalms 93-100

Psalm 931 The Lord rules as king! He is clothed with majesty. The Lord has clothed himself; he has armed himself with power. The world was set in place; it cannot be moved. 2 Your throne was set in place a long time ago. You are eternal. 3 The ocean rises, O Lord. The ocean rises with a roar. The ocean rises with its pounding waves. 4 The Lord above is mighty—mightier than the sound of raging water, mightier than the foaming waves of the sea. 5 Your written testimonies are completely reliable. O Lord, holiness is what makes your house beautiful for days without end.

PS 93:1; 96:10; 97:1; 99:1-The Lord Reigns.  Many Psalms refer to the Lord Jesus as King, but these Psalms don't only refer to him as king but the theme of the Psalms is the Kingship of Christ.  The truth that the Lord Reigns. Some call these Psalms "The Sovereignty of God Psalms". "The Rule of Jesus", "The King of His Dominion".

Let's pray that God Graces us, that God will make the Kingship of Christ a burning reality in our hearts.  A living truth that God will make it burn in our heart that the Lord Jesus Christ Reigns.  That God blesses us and begins to make that real unto us then our prayer would be fulfilled.

The Lord Reigns are quoted in the New Testament.   PS 97:7 - Hebrews 1:6.  The New Testament expression of the same truth is the Lord Jesus Reigns.

PS 103:19 refers to the Royal Psalms.

Overview of the Royal Psalms:
PS 95 - Song of Rest
PS 96 - Song of Worship
PS 96:11-12 - All nature is invited to join in the song.

There is a song of  Victory and a song of Service.  Before we can sing these songs we will look at three glorious truths.

These Psalms are a different kind of song, than 93 & 94.  You have a principle, you have a message, you have a teaching.  It's as if God is saying, if you see this truth you will sing the song in PS 95 and PS 96.  You'll have a new song.  It's as if God says now take a look at 97.  God is saying if you learn the message of  PS 97 your going to learn the song of PS 98.  PS 99 is another message and PS 100 is another the song.   We need to see what truth this is that produces this song.  They all are about the Kingship of Jesus Christ.  The Lord Jesus Christ Reigns.

The Three Glorious Truths

Not only do these songs all teach of the Royal Kingship of Jesus Christ.  This is the exact order in which you will experience it.  You can't learn the second song until you learn the first song.  You can't learn the third song until you learn the second song.   Maybe as we go through these truths you can learn where you are.  Not only do these Psalms touch on the royalty of Jesus Christ.  You can't do God's will until you can delight to do His will, that's the delight we can't fake.

These are the Songs He wants to write in our hearts as we go through these Royal Psalms. Submitting to His Kingship is the safest thing you could do.  When you reject the Kingship of Christ you become an enemy of your own peace.

Luke 19:41-42 Jesus says, 41 As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it 42 and said, “If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace—but now it is hidden from your eyes.

PS 93 - The first Psalm that begins the Song, but then is the foundation. Everything rests on this and everything flows from this.  Everything is built on this Glorious Psalm.  The starting point of the Reign of Christ of the Song begins with: Entire Creator - Absolute Lord - Jesus seats upon a solitary throne, infinitely higher than anything.

These verses teach that the Lord sits upon a solitary throne and He is irresistible in His reign and no flood can reach Him.

The voice of the waves, the pounding of the waves and the breakers break, doesn't reach His throne.  Nothing can contradict God's throne.  The Lord Jesus established His throne.

Royal Psalm number two:  Psalm 93 and 94 together make the message.

Psalm 94:20 talks about the throne of destruction.  God allows some things, how can that be reconciled. Psalm 93 talks about the throne of God and that the Lord Jesus reigns.  You have to read these two Psalms together.  Psalm 94 contradicts Psalm 93.  The Lord will not abandon His people.  We ask, What's God up to?  Why does He allow this?  If He is King why?

The message of Psalm 93 and 94, Once God's Spirit writes that truth in your human spirit, you will have to sing the song.   One possible reason of  Psalm 94 could be, God may be trying to work a change in your life.  His eye is on everything that touches you and which concerns you.  God is not out to destroy us.  Maybe He wants you to know His love, His presence, His Grace.

In PS 94: vs. 17, The Lord our help;  v.18, Thy loving kindness, O Lord, will hold me up;  vs. 22, He is my stronghold, the rock of my refuge.  We say, maybe, He is chastening me and so then later it will feel good.  Maybe, He wants me to know Him, so, maybe this whole thing is survival that I make it through this situation.  Vs. 19, In chastening the blessings follow but it doesn't say after, it says, when it is happening, while you are going through it, thy consolations delight thyself.

God will walk you through it.  God may be saying, "Maybe, I'm bringing you right now into an intimate walk with God.   Maybe, I'm bringing you in such a way you will experience the life of God in at the moment because the storms can't touch you, your heart is touched because .

God may be allowing something with you that has nothing to do with you.  He might be doing something in the World you might just be in the flow of things. Vs. 14, Something is going in the big scene.  Vs. 15,  God's says I'm working, He will develop it later on.

PS 93 - The Lord Jesus Reigns
PS 94 - It doesn't look like the Lord Reigns

The message is, 'Take His Reign by Faith'.  God's not worried because He knows He is in control.  He is not worried.  Is it possible that I can be free from worry as God is.  This will lead into the Song of Rest.  He does Reign!  The more you believe that the Lord Jesus Reigns, you are going to begin to Sing that Song.

The Royal Song begins with the Call of Faith.  Before we get to higher ground we have to start here.  -Bits and pieces of a sermon from Ed Miller-

WE SERVE AN INDESCRIBABLE GOD!

God wants us to see His glory (Exodus 16:10) And it came to pass, as Aaron spoke unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud.

I love going to church and seeing God move. Seeing him not only change other people, but He always seems to have something special for me. After getting home, and thinking about what an awesome God we get the privilege to serve and trying to grasp what kind of God he is and put it into words, I came up with the only one explanation, that we serve an Indescribable GOD. There seems to be no word in the human vocabulary big enough to describe Him! The many unseen supernatural blessings He shares with us, leaves me in utter awe of His ways. His ways are more than my human mind can absorb, and thus leaving me on my knees in a puddle of tears in His awesomeness. So, I will search Him with all my heart and pray that He will give me all His supernatural strength, wisdom and understanding to share His truth with others, that they might glimpse some of His awesomeness. Father, direct me down your path that all I do and say will be to give only You the Glory and Honor that You, Father, are Worthy of.

  Indescribable Lyrics

Artist(Band):Chris Tomlin

From the highest of heights to the depths of the sea

Creation's revealing Your majesty

From the colors of fall to the fragrance of spring

Every creature unique in the song that it sings

All exclaiming

Indescribable, uncontainable,

You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.

You are amazing God

All powerful, untameable,

Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim

You are amazing God

Who has told every lightning bolt where it should go

Or seen heavenly storehouses laden with snow

Who imagined the sun and gives source to its light

Yet conceals it to bring us the coolness of night

None can fathom

Indescribable, uncontainable,

You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name

You are amazing God

All powerful, untameable,

Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim

You are amazing God

Indescribable, uncontainable,

You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.

You are amazing God

All powerful, untameable,

Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim

You are amazing God

Indescribable, uncontainable,

You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.

You are amazing God

Incomparable, unchangeable

You see the depths of my heart and You love me the same

You are amazing God

You are amazing God

 TAKING US TO NEW HEIGHTS

Angels are sent to touch us in visions (Daniel 9:21) Yea, while I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.

Seeing this image while in prayer, while committing my ministry to GOD, I was taken to new heights with GOD.   Also, this was a night I was trusting the Lord with the scripture He had given me as I prayed for guidance in attending a church.

I had decided not to go to the meeting that night and a friend said,  "Just ask GOD and He will give you an answer to whether you should go or not".  So, I did and began praying, seeking what GOD wanted me to do.  I received an answer, It was the scripture Habbakuk 3:19 and called her back letting her know what the Holy Spirit had showed me. We both were excited. It was a night that was planned by GOD and I had went down the right path.  I went to the church in obedience to His answer and was blessed with a special touch of His presence, as each person was also that night. You will not believe what the sermon was.  Yes, GOD taking you to new heights.

Habbakuk 3:19
 19 The Sovereign LORD is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to tread on the heights.
(NIV)

17-19Though the cherry trees don't blossom
   and the strawberries don't ripen,
Though the apples are worm-eaten
   and the wheat fields stunted,
Though the sheep pens are sheepless
   and the cattle barns empty,
I'm singing joyful praise to God.
I'm turning cartwheels of joy to my Savior God.
Counting on God's Rule to prevail,
I take heart and gain strength.
I run like a deer.
I feel like I'm king of the mountain!
(MSG)

Also it is now the name of one of my devotional blogs "Live, GOD! Go Climb GOD's Mountain".

I would like to share with you some highlights of the wonderful spirt-filled sermon.

"A Hind is a type of deer that lives up in the mountains.  A Hind jumps instead of walking, with two feet up into holes and then they let go, and then those back feet go where those top feet are.  The Word here says, the Lord God is my strength.  It doesn't have to be my strength it is His strength.   He will make my feet like Hinds feet, so, when you venture out and put those feet into new ground God is going to meet you right where you are and then He's going to take you somewhere else.  He's waiting for you to put your feet into that new ground.  And then He is going to make your back hind feet come up and meet those front feet, and He is going to take you into higher levels and higher levels, and higher levels.  Every one of you here, have been called to new ground.  Because you came out tonight and you came out expecting and I know tonight that there is not going to be one person that is not going to go to a higher level, because God said it, I believe it, that settles. it.  Amen!

When we know who we are in Christ we are instant in season and out of season.  Let's take a look at 2 Timothy 4:2-3, which says, Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.   For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine.   Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.  (NIV)

I would also like to share the scripture from the Message Bible:
I can't impress this on you too strongly. God is looking over your shoulder. Christ himself is the Judge, with the final say on everyone, living and dead. He is about to break into the open with his rule, so proclaim the Message with intensity; keep on your watch. Challenge, warn, and urge your people. Don't ever quit. Just keep it simple.

You're going to find that there will be times when people will have no stomach for solid teaching, but will fill up on spiritual junk food—catchy opinions that tickle their fancy. They'll turn their backs on truth and chase mirages. But you—keep your eye on what you're doing; accept the hard times along with the good; keep the Message alive; do a thorough job as God's servant.  (MSG)

Is that a word just to a particular people, or to all believers?  We are all called to preach the Word.  We have a ministry of reconciliation.  When you are born again and GOD came in your heart, Christ came in you.  He is "The Hope of Glory", you were called  to the ministry of reconciliation.  And what that means is that your job, your honor, your privilege, your responsibility, is to reconcile others back to Christ.  That's what Jesus left for!  He said, I'm going and I'm leaving you to do my work.  And we have to get built up, we have to know who we are.  Who is going to follow you if we are just an old hum-drum person."
-Bits and Pieces of sermon from The Hope Church Ministry-

God did not disappoint anyone who attended that Sunday night.   If I would not have went that night I would have missed out on a Spiritual Blessing GOD, himself, had planned for me to be a part of.   GOD, gave me a word and I stood believing what He said in the Word, when I asked Him diligently that afternoon.   Isn't He an Amazing GOD!  Yes, Yes, Yes, my soul says, Yes.  GOD gives each of His children blessings like this all the time and they are for you too, when you seek Him!

The vision of the Angel was a bonus.  It was a messenger from heaven and was an answer to another prayer.  While seeking GOD's guidance on finding a home,  I prayed and told him specific things which would work for the family and some special things about the home which I would like.  One of them was to be close enough to a Church, so I could here the Church bells ring.  That next day after this sermon, we received an answer saying we could move into the house which met all the requests I had made in prayer.  GOD is Amazing!

When people don't understand the JOY I have, I pray for GOD to open their spiritual eyes, that they look up and believe that GOD will speak to them.  Yes,  I am head over heals in Love with my Creator, GOD.  People just can not take the personal experiences a believer has with GOD away from you.  Those personal experiences are the landmarks in our spiritual growth GOD gives to each of us.  May GOD Bless you with all Spiritual Supernatural Blessings.

Dancing Before the Throne of God

The Holy Spirit will take us up to other places in visions (Ezekiel 11:24) Afterwards the spirit took me up, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.

While praying with a prayer partner, the Lord gave her a vision of me dancing before the throne of GOD.  She asked me my favorite color, I answered blue, then she said is there another favorite color? I answered, rainbow colors. As she continued describing what she was seeing in the Spirit, she said that I was about the age of 12 and had long white hair. She told me that I was wearing a blue and yellow dress, with black patent shoes, dancing before the throne of GOD. When she had finished, I told her I do like yellow roses. After I said this, she gave a word of encouragement, The LORD wants me to tell you that He loves you very much. Hearing those words brought tears to my eyes and a tug in my heart, that had needed these words said.

As we were talking, I rubbed above my eyebrow. She asked if I was OK.  I told her, I had been having a pain there all day. She prayed for healing and as she spoke, I saw flames in both her eyes. I was actually seeing the Holy Spirit working, giving her discernment. It was an awesome experience.

When God reveals to us visions of  Heaven and ways of praise, I would say that is the way He desires us to praise Him.  He does not give His children a snake or a rock for a spiritual gift, He goes a step further and invites you to the throne of God.

The nation of Israel has used dance as a form of worship throughout their history. Several  places within the Bible make reference to the use of dance as a form of worship.

Prophetic Dance is a distinct form of Sacred Dance in which revelation is received by the dancer from God and manifested into movement to bring forth a message to people. It is important to understand that revelation is revealing or communicating divine truth that is revealed by God to people. God gives revelation through people in a number of creative ways, such as singing, writing, drama, instrumental music, and dance.

The earliest mention of dance as a form of worship in scripture is in the book of Exodus, when the nation of Israel had just crossed the Red Sea. It says:
“And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.”      (Exodus 15:20)
It is interesting that Miriam (the sister of Moses and Aaron) was called a prophetess, yet nowhere in scripture does it record a single prophecy that she brought fourth. However, praise dancing was taught in the school of the prophets. Apparently, the nation of Israel viewed dance as a prophetic gifting, and treated it as such.

One of the things that King David is known for in the Bible is his praise and worship. Much of the book of Psalms (songs of praises) was written by him, and the Davidic style of worship has been practiced in Israel for many years, even unto today. Today, the resurgence of dance, and other forms of the arts being used in worship in Christian churches is referred to as the reinstatement of Davidic worship. King David himself danced before the Lord, when he brought the Ark of the Covenant into Jerusalem.
“And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod.”
(2 Samuel 6:14)
David also refers to dance as a form of worship in some of the Psalms he wrote. For example:
“Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.”
(Psalm 149:3)
“Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.”
(Psalm 150:4)

YADA KATA KATARTISMOS

We are to watch to see what God will say to us (Habakkuk 2:1) I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

Four years later, the Holy Spirit began showing me again, the importance of praise to Him. We had a "Cleansing the Church" retreat with Timothy Davis as the quest speaker. After the retreat was over, we had a bonus meeting the next day, which focused on the Holy Spirit. I was really excited because the LORD was moving in the church weeks before and during the meetings, preparing us as a church for this bonus night.

That evening as I was getting ready to go, the Holy Spirit said two words, very loud to me. During the meeting, I went forward, with others, so Timothy could lay hands on us to receive our spiritual tongue from the Holy Spirit. GOD gave Timothy the same words and this was a confirmation that these new words would be part of my prayer language. The Holy Spirit had been giving me words in the past years, but I wasn't sure how to use them.

We then continued repeating the words as we sang to a familiar tune. This felt awkward but did help with moving into more words from the Holy Spirit.

Now knowing the words, but not knowing the meaning, I began a quest to find just what the Holy Spirit was saying. To my surprise I found them in my New Spirit Filled Life Bible, so I didn't have to look far. I was just elated, "Adah Kata", fit right in with "The Third Heaven Glimpse" and then Katartismos was a message for the church.

ידה
yâdâh yaw-daw'

To praise, give thanks, acknowledge, declare the merits of someone. Yada is an important word for “praise” or “thanks”, and occurs more than 100 times in the OT, more then half of these are in the book of Psalms.

The origin of this verb is the noun Yad (hand) which developed into the verb “yadah”, suggesting outstretched hands as a means of worship and of thanks.

ידע
yâda‛ yaw-dah'

A primitive root; to know (properly to ascertain by seeing); used in a great variety of senses, figuratively, literally, euphemistically and inferentially (including observation, care, recognition; and causatively instruction, designation, punishment, etc.): - acknowledge, acquaintance (-ted with), advise, answer, appoint, assuredly, be aware, [un-] awares, can [-not], certainly, for a certainty, comprehend, consider, X could they, cunning, declare, be diligent, (can, cause to) discern, discover, endued with, familiar friend, famous, feel, can have, be [ig-] norant, instruct, kinsfolk, kinsman, (cause to, let, make) know, (come to give, have, take) knowledge, have [knowledge], (be, make, make to be, make self) known, + be learned, + lie by man, mark, perceive, privy to, X prognosticator, regard, have respect, skillful, shew, can (man of) skill, be sure, of a surety, teach, (can) tell, understand, have [understanding], X will be, wist, wit, wot.

God acknowledges that He has seen and heard the problems of the Hebrews and intends to become personally involved. Exodus 3:7

κατά
kata
kat-ah'

A primary particle; (preposition) down (in place or time), in varied relations (according to the case [genitive, dative or accusative] with which it is joined): - about, according as (to), after, against, (when they were) X alone, among, and, X apart, (even, like) as (concerning, pertaining to, touching), X aside, at, before, beyond, by, to the charge of, [charita-] bly, concerning, + covered, [dai-] ly, down, every, (+ far more) exceeding, X more excellent, for, from . . . to, godly, in (-as much, divers, every, -to, respect of), . . . by, after the manner of, + by any means, beyond (out of) measure, X mightily, more, X natural, of (up-) on (X part), out (of every), over against, (+ your) X own, + particularly, so, through (-oughout, -oughout every), thus, (un-) to (-gether, -ward), X uttermost, where (-by), with. In composition it retains many of these applications, and frequently denotes opposition, distribution or intensity.

After singing the new words with a familiar tune these words came out.

καταρτισμός katartismos kat-ar-tis-mos'

Complete furnishing (objectively): - perfecting.

A making fit, preparing, training, perfecting, making fully qualified for service. In classical language the word is used for setting a bone for surgery. The Great Physician is now making all the necessary adjustments so the church will not be “Out of Joint.”

The Greek word for equipping implies:

1. A recovered wholeness as when a broken limb is set and mends.

2. A discovered function, as when a physical member is properly operating.

The work of the ministry is the enterprise of each member of the Body of Christ and not the exclusive charge of the select leaders.

Taken together, Eph 4:11,12 reveal that the task of the gifted leader is to cultivate the individual and corporate ministries of those he or she leads.

Being in Church with other Believers who have the gifts is one way to learn how to strengthen your Gifts. GOD wants us the Church to be united, One in the Spirit. We must become the true Bride awaiting her Groom, Yeshua.
