WE ARE NOT WRESTLING AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD BUT AGAINST PRINCIPALITIES AND POWER

My grandaughter woke up crying, saying the ants were biting her, so I wanted to search the meaning of them and I found this biblical study about the meaning. .  Ants belong to the group of insects that work together in unity and in large groups.  One good thing about the ants is that they are hardworking.  Physically, they possess a good trait, but spiritually, they become one of the instruments of the agent of darkness to attack people in the dream.

The ant attack reminds me of what many versions of the Bible call the "wiles of the devil".

Ephesians 6:11 – Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. (KJV)

The Amplified Bible describes them as "the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil".

The devil, like the ants, attacks suddenly, without warning. Like the ants going for bare skin, the devil goes for areas that he knows are our weak spots.

The attack may be subtle, just as the tiny ants look so innocuous. An attack from the enemy of our soul, if not properly resisted, has effects like the bite of a fire ant. The good news is:

James 4:7 – Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (NIV)

Let's keep wearing the protective armour that God provides, and stand against the wiles of the devil — those tricks meant to trap us.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for providing us with special armour to protect us from the wiles of the devil. Thank You that in this way, we can resist the devil, and he will flee from us. Help us to remember the armour, and remember to resist. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
