I AM A CHILD OF GOD

 

This morning I woke up saying "I am a Child of God" enthusiastically.  After getting around I got my inside bike and turned on the TV to watch the daily prayers with "Grace for Purpose Prayers". I say the prayers and enjoy the landscapes as I exercise. I was surprised the video prayer was titled, "YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD" / A Heartfelt Morning Prayer to Bless Your Day. Isn't God good! I am thankful when the Lord speaks to His children through the gift of the Holy Spirit. God speaks to us through the scripture of the Holy Bible and let's us know just how important we are to our Creator God.

James 1:17 ESV - Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

Isaiah 49:1 ESV - Listen to me, O coastlands, and give attention, you peoples from afar. The Lord called me from the womb, from the body of my mother he named my name.

Isaiah 44:24 ESV - Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, who formed you from the womb: “I am the Lord, who made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself.

Jeremiah 1:5 ESV - “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

Ecclesiastes 11:5 ESV - As you do not know the way the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of a woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything.

John 16:21 ESV - When a woman is giving birth, she has sorrow because her hour has come, but when she has delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.

Proverbs 31:25 ESV - Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come.

Isaiah 49:15 - “Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you.

1 Samuel 1:27-28 ESV - For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition that I made to him. Therefore I have lent him to the Lord. As long as he lives, he is lent to the Lord.” And he worshiped the Lord there.

Deuteronomy 6:6-9 - And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Psalm 127:3-5 ESV - Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.

Proverbs 17:6 - Grandchildren are the crown of the aged, and the glory of children is their fathers.

Proverbs 22:6 ESV - Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.

Psalm 8:2 ESV - Out of the mouth of babies and infants, you have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger.

Psalm 113:9 - He gives the barren woman a home, making her the joyous mother of children. Praise the Lord!

Psalm 139:1-24 ESV - A Psalm of David. O Lord, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether. Isaiah 9:6 ESV - For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Galatians 1:15 - But when he who had set me apart before I was born, and who called me by his grace,

Psalm 100:1 - A Psalm for giving thanks. Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!

Numbers 6:24-26 ESV - The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
